Natalie has just spent a week in Sequim (east of Seattle) doing Nutritious Movement training with Katy Bowman and MovNat Certification with teachers from MovNat. So we will be incorporating a taste of what Natalie studied into our classes.
Katy Bowman describes the Nutritious Movement Program as a "whole-body movement program that utilises exercises, alignment adjustments, and habitat (lifestyle) changes to better move all trillion of your body’s parts." The MovNat physical education system focuses on our natural movement skills developed so we survived over the course of our evolutionary history. This can be sitting on the ground and getting up to a standing position to more complex and challenging skills such as running on rugged terrain and climbing over high objects.
