Five Health Benefits of Standing Desks







Natalie and I have been standing at our computers for a number of years.  I suspect that when people see us doing this they think we are quite eccentric.

Peter, a yoga client, dropped of the article "Five Health Benefits of Standing Desks" by Joseph Stromberg.   The research based health benefits are:

  1. reduced risk of obesity,

  2. reduced risk of type 2 diabetes and other metabolic problems,

  3. reduced risk fo cardiovascular disease,

  4. reduced risk of cancer, and

  5. lower long-term mortality risk.
